Very comfortable, well-made, medium-weight tee.

These really are right between lights and mediums! When I need to setup a guitar for both flatpicking AND fingerpicking, these are the way to go! The coating is thin and very natural feeling- I barely notice it’s there and don’t really hear it (they sound pretty much the same and uncoated strings), but there is definitely a touch of added warmth that is much welcome over your typical run of the mill cheap phosphor bronze strings. The sound is not edgy or twangy, but full and balanced. And if you gotta have a 13 and 17 on top…well, they offer this same set but with the bigger treble strings in the “Bluegrass” set, so they got you covered there too! There is plenty of boom and low end in these puppies as well, more than I expected. Overall just a uniquely balanced tension set of strings with a tone that is not super complex in my opinion- rather, it is woody and warm with strong fundamentals. Great stuff! I’’ll be ordering plenty more in the future I’m sure.

First time purchase. I love these strings. I bought the bluegrass series for a friend and also got the country series set as well. Which I put on my 1990 710 Taylor. My guitar never sounded better. The tone and feel of these strings are incredible. Also tried there picks, orange in color. Awesome picks. Like that I can see these picks on dark table. Definitely will use these strings in the future.

These are great for all around picking. I like the thickness, and the clean sound. Get you a handful!!

Never ordered from Woodtone before, but I must say this is great company. Awesome strings. And the picks are excellent. Devin went out of his way to get my order delivered before a friends birthday. During black Friday sales. Would definitely recommend there products.

Gave my Epiphone Texan the depth I like. I've had to go lighter strings because of arthritis, but the thinner sound has been underwhelming. So, your strings might just fit the bill. Need to live with them for.a while. Thank you.

I was playing with Dunlop jazz picks. These are superior in tone, grip, and versatility. Will purchase again.

I've been playing D'Addario XS and really like them on my D18 and HD28. I saw this ad and thought I'd try Woodtone Bluegrass on my HD28. They are smooth playing and are very loud. They didn't have that brightness that any new string has but were still lively. Woodtone has captured the optimal bluegrass sound in a brand new string right out of the pack. I can't speak to the longevity yet but being slightly coated, I'm expecting good performance.

I have been using Elixir medium and D'Addario medium strings on my Martin HD28, Larivee and Takamine dreadnaught guitars for years. I tried the Nickel-Infused strings and have made the switch. When you are 76 and your fingers don't work like they used to, these strings really help. They produce a great sound that is loud and clear and last just as long as the Elixirs. I'm sold!

I like the picks. They are smooth, responsive, and make very little drag noise. Comfortable and great sounding. I highly recommend them!!!

I decided to try these and I put them on my vintage d 18. I couldn’t tell any difference in playability from the lights I had been using. They sound great! Clear and bright! I’ll be trying them on some of my other guitars.

This is a great pick! I like the contour of the 3 points, not too pointed or too rounded. The material gives a balanced tone.

The picks I ordered have a perfect finish, density and shape that makes my playing much easier. Rhythm guitar players will love ‘em.

Woodtone strings last longer, stay in tune better, and have a better overall tone than all the other strings I’ve used. They’re great buy at the price too since they last longer. My only wish now is that I could get Woodtone strings from my octave mandolin!
